Rudgate Brewery was founded in 1992 celebrating 18 years of award winning ales.

We are a small traditional brewer using the finest raw materials.Local Water, Locally sourced malts, The finest whole hops and our own strain of Yorkshire Brewing Yeast.

The 15 barrel brew plant is capable of producing 85 barrels per week using 6 open fermenters. The full infusion mash system uses only whole malted barleys. As well as 6 regular beers, 3 seasonal ales are brewed every month based on a Viking theme, using closely guarded recipes. The brewer's choice range makes up the other two seasonals - generally paler beers with new flavours and characters. We also run and brew beers for Marston Moor Brewery
